Review by Allan Ndawula

Henri Prieur's album Le Temps Des Cerises Quand Les Lilas Refleuriront is a beautiful tribute to the classic French chanson. The album features Prieur's rich, deep vocals combined with the sweet sounds of the accordion and guitar. The songs are a mix of traditional French favorites and original compositions, all with a timeless quality that transports the listener to a bygone era.

One standout track is "Le Temps Des Cerises," a beloved French classic that Prieur delivers with emotion and grace. The accordion and guitar accompaniment is simple yet effective, providing a perfect backdrop for Prieur's vocals. Another highlight is "Les Lilas Refleuriront," an original composition that captures the essence of springtime in France.
