FuturE - Talos

Review by Stuart McRae

FuturE's latest album, Talos, is a stunning work of electronic music that blends elements of ambient, techno, and house to create a truly unique listening experience. From the opening track, "Aurora Borealis," the listener is transported to a world of shimmering synths and pulsing beats that evoke a sense of otherworldliness and transcendence.

Throughout the album, FuturE demonstrates an impressive range of production skills, incorporating everything from glitchy percussive elements to lush pads and ethereal vocal samples. Tracks like "Spectral" and "Hyperion" showcase the artist's ability to create intricate soundscapes that are both hypnotic and engaging, while "Nebula" and "Celestial" offer more straightforward dancefloor-oriented grooves.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "Talos," which features a haunting vocal performance from guest artist Elysia, and builds to a climax of soaring arpeggios and thundering drums. Another highlight is "Atlas," a brooding and atmospheric track that showcases FuturE's talent for creating tension and drama through his use of sound design.
