I think I have an original 45--at least I know I have No Not Much on Columbia.
?❤ i miss yesterday when we were naive
This is such a nice song. It reminds me of the school Playground when I was in 3rd grade during Autumn. Kind of makes me teary because I loved this song. ❤
My heart is touched by this stuff. I grew up in the 50's. My babysitter(I was 10) taught me how to dance, and this was the first song i ever danced to. I still love you, Roberta ❣❣ In White Rock BC. If you re reading this, you are 80 minus one. I have never forgotten you.. From the corner of Parker and Buena Vista ?
thanks new vegas
At the time I thought the 4 aces were the best of the best. But then I realized the Lads were far superior. Oh well just an opinion about music from a time that will never come again.
My parents' special song. They were true soulmates.
I love this song and have since I first heard it back in the fifties when I was in high school.
I WAS 18 & a DAD THEN...I SOO LOVED THE SOUND & LYRICS OF "THE LADS"....I STILL DO....MEMREES....

I absolutely love this song. I was nine years old when it hit the radio. I loved it then, not really knowing what most of it meant, but I loved it then and, obviously, still do. I remember most of the words but not all of them.
I Love this song also..Who needs you ...I remember both of them ...Thanks for posting ...
You had to be there in the fifties to really enjoy the Four Lads......I was and I'M so glad.......
Recorded on November 16, 1955.
The Vogues remade this hit w/ the Wrecking Crew in '69. And it's very good of course. But despite the improved technology, that recording is not as good as this one!
Ok can we get a creepiest song ever award to these cats for THIS song??? “I’m the cat who got the cream” omg just lookin at women as meat? “Givin all the girls the eye” as in OOGLING??? And a dude standing on Main Street (with no money, broke af mind you) “reviewing the haram parading before me” and finally “you can’t go to jail for what your thinkin” which would imply and confirm that the thoughts are arguably vicious, overtly sexual and likely against the law? Wtf I hate to be a prude or the party poop because I’m all about the sex… but how long ago were these seeds planted in my head??? And is thinking these thoughts my fault? Or better yet how many of us were brainwashed????
