Notes
- This version was also released with a generic white sleeve.
- Sleeve note by Dave Fudger including a quotation from "On The Level" by Anthony Howell:
- "The first time I heard The Flying Lizards, almost a year ago, the country was in grave economic difficulties.
- Twelve months later The Lizards have brought their petulant minimalism to the public ear and the country is still in economic difficulties. Every new day admits of the mechanism of a gun."
- Track B1 is only mentioned with "bonus track summertime dub." stamped on the back sleeve. There is no pause between track B1 and B2.
- Release appears to be almost identical to the other UK The Flying Lizards - Summertime Blues with the exception of the David Cunningham credit, which reads as "Piano Recordings" instead of "Piano Productions" as is seen on that version.

i love love love the way she says sunday
Their first LP should be in the great list of 100 best albums of all time. Why? It is a pleasant album to listen to, and it is very well recorded. Love the end of this song :)
A friend’s mother had this in her record collection. We found it in the 80’s and loved it. But it made no sense that his mother had it... she was into Tony Bennett and early 60’’s folk.

Indeed. Quite.
Really cool song. Just not very good, that's all.

Damn, nearly as rocking as Brian Setzers version ?
If Queen Elizabeth was in a blues cover band.
this cover sucks but their money cover was good
Strange, but I like it...?
My sisters and I made a dance to this song. Good memories!
Don’t hear anything as original in sound or approach now in my opinion.

My God I love the Flying Lizards. Have since '80-ish. Mash-up suggestion: Blue Cheer and Flying Lizards. Anyone with me? Hello?
Love it!
