Review by Kevin Carr

Ferdinando Piscopo's interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's Dalle Sonate E Partite Per Un Solo Violino is a masterful display of technical skill and emotional depth. Piscopo's ability to capture the essence of each piece is evident in the way he navigates the intricate melodies and complex harmonies.

The album is a collection of some of Bach's most beloved works for solo violin, including the Partita No. 2 in D minor and Sonata No. 1 in G minor. Piscopo's performance is both powerful and nuanced, showcasing his understanding of the music and his ability to bring it to life.

One standout track is the Chaconne from the Partita No. 2, which Piscopo delivers with a sense of reverence and awe. His playing is both technically precise and emotionally charged, making for a truly unforgettable listening experience.
