Review by Brian Ragunan

Exhaustion's latest album is a stunning achievement in the world of experimental rock. The band's unique sound blends elements of post-punk, noise rock, and avant-garde music to create something truly original and captivating.

From the opening track, "Drowning in the Sea of Noise," it's clear that Exhaustion is not interested in playing it safe. The song is a chaotic, cacophonous explosion of sound that sets the tone for the rest of the album. The band's use of dissonant guitar riffs, pounding drums, and distorted vocals creates an atmosphere of tension and unease that is both thrilling and unsettling.

The album's standout track, "Blackout," is a haunting and hypnotic masterpiece. The song's repetitive, hypnotic guitar riff builds to a crescendo of noise and chaos, before collapsing into a mournful, melancholic coda. It's a stunning piece of music that showcases Exhaustion's ability to create beauty out of chaos.

Throughout the album, the band's musicianship is impeccable. The rhythm section of bassist Matt Faisandier and drummer Alex Cuffe is tight and precise, providing a solid foundation for the band's more experimental elements. Guitarist/vocalist Joel Stern is a master of his craft, using his instrument to create a wide range of sounds and textures.
