1990, at the age of 15, Eric Borgo discovered house music. Two years later he started mixing, at home just for his own. In 1994 he started with mixing Jungle/Breakbeat and had a successfull first gig. Besides Jungle/Breakbeat he played more an more the Detroit-style and funky & groovey techno. The break-through was Ravestorm in february 1995, organiced by Futurescope & Karma Sutra in Bern, all night long with Laurent Garnier together in one floor. Since then he mixed at almost all major swiss raves like Energy 95/96/97/98, Cubik 95/97, Odyssey 3, Futurescope, Atlantis, Evolution. He also played at the legendary E-Werk in Berlin, the Duala in Ravensburg, the Mastertribe in Stuttgart (with Sven Väth toghether) or the Mayday in Dortmund. At the moment he works as a resident DJ for clubs like LAnfer (Dijon F), TRAX@Rohstofflager (Zurich) and The Loft (Lausanne). Besides Bookings in Switzerland he is one of the most booked DJs in France and played there in almost every good club (LAnfer, Rex) or all the very important parties (Les Trans Musicales, Global Techno, Technomachine, etc).
He also works for the swiss national radio station COULEUR 3, where he has his own weekly show. French journalists in the CodA magazin wrote that Eric is their favourite swiss DJ and put him in their listing of the wolrds best DJs.
In September 1998 Eric mixed and compiled a live-mix CD for Zurichs TRAX Club ? the TRAX@Rohstofflager Vol. 2" on DJ Beat/EMI. This year he released his first EP, together with the swiss house producer Dani König, on the french Label GoodLife (The Hacker, OXIA), played by Rolando, Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, etc.
Besides mixing he's the writer of the french info-part for a the swiss edition of the magazine PARTYSAN.
