Enrique Linares (born 1944 in Saltillo, Coahuila) was a Mexican bolero singer active in the 1960s/1970s and was widely known in the northern part of the country.
At a young age, Enrique begin taking a interest in music and play various instruments during his childhood. In his late adolescent years, he would be a co-founder his own band named "Las Siluetas del Rock" (later as 'Las Siluetas del Twist') (The Silhouettes Of Rock/Twist) as the requinto guitarist. The group stood out locally and they collaborate with local radio stations in various presentations. He began singing on radio stations with his band or other guest groups at the time, during the evenings in Saltillo. He than would become a sololist during the mid-60s. Enrique would arrived in the city of Monterrey in Nuevo León where he would appear in the television program "Muévanse todos" (Everybody Move), hosted by Vianey Valdéz alongside with Omero González where he would record his debut album in 1965 "Italianita
