Review by Ray Umphrey

Enrique Linares' latest album, Recuerda Amor Corazón, is a beautifully crafted collection of classic bolero and ranchera songs. The album showcases Linares' rich, emotive vocals and his ability to interpret these timeless songs with great sensitivity and depth.

From the opening track, "La Barca," to the closing number, "Noche de Ronda," Linares takes the listener on a journey through the many moods and emotions of love. The arrangements are lush and full, with strings, horns, and percussion adding depth and texture to the songs.

Standout tracks include "Bésame Mucho," which Linares delivers with a tender, heartfelt touch, and "Solamente Una Vez," which showcases his ability to convey both passion and vulnerability. The album also features a duet with the legendary Mexican singer Lila Downs on "Piensa en Mí," which adds a hauntingly beautiful quality to the already poignant song.
