Comments
I like it. I was born in 1970.
Wonderful music and wonderful sound quality.Perfect cinema for the ears.Theyproduced this album only with mixing-by-ear. Listentothis perfect vocals and stereo-mix.Tender,crafty warmorgan, heavy guitar, charming voices -perfect!-Compare to state-of-art "Madonna"-albums! and its stupid plastic polishing surface.-- 16:40 guitars never sounded better later. Even Osbournes guitarists would have loved to sound this good.(but sometimes they did really)
??????

We were even expecting to meet Bill Wyman or any Stone in the audience but it was unfounded. Though the place was very small and we were less than half a dozen in the audience. Actually it was last week as I was passing by the facade where, I said to my elder mother who was at The Beatles, here was where The End played back when. It was our very first British Invasion band with The Beatles in 1965. Never heard, absolutely anybody, mention it or that would know that it had happened as we were first hand testimonies in Olot, Girona. Total amnesia. Nobody did seem born at the time. Neither in the whole of Spain. When I move to England in 1968 it was even worse. It took me ages to find out anything about them, nobody did seem to know anything about. Though the album appeared ages late, at least to me when I found it, though they had even made a 'film' in Spain and few singles later...their outfits remind us to The Kinks, with their embroidered white shirts and flamboyant granite long jackets but, the music was much more 'advance' into the 'things to come' which wasn't as yet shown as the album became. There are few paradigmatic albums from that time period alike, though there seem to be many. "Defecting Gray" comes to mind which I heard at the BBC World Service after the English By Radio program, as an unsurpassed sing of the times them, when it was announced that it was the youthful sound of London...
Oh yeah this is absolutely brilliant ?
"Fantastic psych-rock album from British band, The End. Produced by Rolling Stone bassist Bill Wyman & featuring members of Tucky Buzzard, Mott The Hoople, CSN, Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters & more. If you like the Pretty Things & bands with a similar sound this is a must listen"
