Déclic - Main Dans La Main

The Swiss group "Déclic" was born in 1984. This group, composed of Patrick Waeber, Eric Gugger and Pierre-Alain Schüpbach, recorded, at the Relief studio in Belfaux, a first single "Si tu le voulais" and "Love is" (songs originally intended for Arlette Zola) in 1984, the record was released in 1985 by Carrère musique. The music of the first song was covered by Syrinx and her daughter on the panpipes and by Alain Morisod on one of his albums. This record was produced by Gina Gugger and Gilberte Waeber. The profits from the sale of the record will be used to offer trips to the Europapark to handicapped children with muscular dystrophy. After the success of the first single, the second single was finally released in 1987. The second single was recorded in Pietro Silvestri's studio in Yverdon. It contains the titles "La vie à deux" and "Hymne à la vie". Catherine Gobet joins the group for this second record. The 45 rpm will be placed in all the Placette (now Manor) in Romandie at that time. The record will even rank in the top 20 of the record sales in Romandie. Eric Gugger and Catherine Gobet, two of the performers of Déclic, successfully wrote the first song. They will do it again a little later for two new songs of the group. Pierre-Alain Schüpbach will leave the group just before the release of a third single, in 1988 with the titles "Main dans la main" and "Hey yo bamboo" whose texts are entirely written by Catherine and Eric. The music was written by Pietro Silvestri. This record was recorded in Pietro Silvestri's studio in Yverdon. Concerts, radio broadcasts and interviews will accompany the release of the records. As with the first single, the next two were recorded with the sole aim of offering children suffering from muscular dystrophy unforgettable days at the Europapark. Georgette Gugger, the producer of the three records, was the driving force behind all these projects. The association will still exist several years later. After having participated in the activities of the group (concerts, promotions etc...), a possible return of the group was discussed in 1989. But it did not happen. Patrick ended his involvement in the group at the end of 1988 and joined a new group called Eden in 1988.
