Review by Seokwon Yang

Donna Fargo's self-titled album is a classic country record that showcases the artist's impressive vocal range and songwriting skills. Released in 1972, the album features ten tracks that blend traditional country with a touch of pop and folk influences.

From the upbeat opener "The Happiest Girl In the Whole USA" to the sentimental ballad "Funny Face," Fargo's songs are catchy, heartfelt, and relatable. Her voice is clear and expressive, delivering each lyric with sincerity and emotion.

The album's standout track, "Don't Be Angry," is a powerful anthem of forgiveness and reconciliation that showcases Fargo's ability to craft a memorable melody and a compelling story. Other highlights include the playful "Little Girl Gone" and the wistful "How Close You Came to Being Gone."
