Review by Solar Green Effects

Desmond Outcast And The Transplanted Heroes' self-titled album is a thrilling ride through the realms of blues-rock and classic rock. The band's sound is characterized by raw, gritty guitar riffs, soulful vocals, and a driving rhythm section that keeps the energy high throughout the record.

One of the standout tracks on the album is "No More Lies," a bluesy number that showcases Desmond Outcast's powerful vocals and the band's ability to craft a catchy, memorable hook. "Battlecry" is another highlight, with its soaring guitar solos and anthemic chorus that's sure to get audiences singing along.

Throughout the album, Desmond Outcast And The Transplanted Heroes demonstrate an impressive range of musical influences, from the bluesy swagger of "Devil's Dance" to the epic, cinematic feel of "Ride Into The Sunset." The band's musicianship is top-notch, with each member contributing to the album's rich, layered sound.

Why, when I near your door, must I turn away, when I knew you so well?
Why, when you came to me, did I send you away? When you came to me so long ago…

The Hated are one of punk/hardcore's greatest secrets. A comprensive, official discography is long overdue

This is not The Hated.  Desmond Outcast and the Transplanted Heroes was not the name of this album, it was the name of the group.  It was Dan Littleton and Erik Fisher from The Hated that recorded this as a sort of side project.
