Corpsefucking Art - War Of The Toilet Gear

Review by Luca Fontani

War Of The Toilet Gear is a brutal and unapologetic album by Corpsefucking Art that is not for the faint of heart. The album is a perfect example of extreme metal, with its fast-paced drumming, heavy riffs, and guttural vocals. The band's dark and gritty sound is evident in every track, and the lyrics are just as disturbing as the music. The album's title track is a standout, with its relentless guitar riffs and pounding drums that will definitely get your head banging. The album also features a cover of Slayer's "Raining Blood," which the band has made their own. War Of The Toilet Gear is a must-listen for fans of extreme metal and for those who are looking for a heavy and intense listening experience.

They may be a totally derivative "brutal" Death Metal act, but at least Corpsefucking Art can be a bit humorous, as evidenced by their second 2005 album War of the Toilet Gear, its cover artwork (a defecating zombie annoyed by a brush and a soap who play with pistols like children) and the concept (the history of Mr. Daisy and his routine life, citing the titles of several Death Metal classics). However, musically, the trick wears thin just by the second track, and the "funny" intros don't help the listening.
