About Colin Day

For the guitarist of Persevere, please use For the photographer/graphic designer, use For the Jeff Leopard collaborator please use Born in St Thomas, Devon, on 16 March 1935 into a theatrical family, Colin's sister Noreen was a Windmill showgirl, and another sister, June, was also in the business. Their mother, originally named Rosie Bowden, performed at Exeter's Hippodrome and was "Auntie Rosie" at an Exeter cinema. Her husband Fred as a petrol tanker driver. Colin sang with the Oscar Rabin Orchestra and appeared on BBC radio's "Go Man Go" programme. He died on 17 March 2013, aged 78.
