Best version, hands down.
No, the lead singer of this song was not Burton Cummings.
Omg! Rush Limbaugh played this song as an intro on his radio show! I always loved the guitar riff but never knew who did it til now!
RIP, Rush! Thanks for the memories!

great sound - I like it!
Great Canadian group from Winnipeg. FYI, the Expressions band by this time consisted of 3/4 of The Guess Who, featuring Randy Bachman on guitar. They heard a copy of the original English #1 tune by Johnny Kidd and the Pirates, acquired the Canadian rights to it , and as a PR stunt decided to release their version with no band name, just "Guess Who? ". Brilliant! People loved it and the band rode the wave of mystery and popularity , deciding soon after to change their name to The Guess Who. Chad Allen left the band a year or so later.

Always liked this song. Used to play it in my 50's & 60's tribute band. Just a plain great Rock n Roll tune.
Remember this very well, Summertime 1965 on our AM stations, WQAM & WFUN in Miami
