Review by Mary Rose Magsaysay Crisostomoo

The Borodin Orchestra Sinfonica Di Roma (RAI) has released an impressive album titled The 3 Symphonies, conducted by the renowned José Serebrier. The symphonies composed by Alexander Borodin showcase his mastery of orchestration and his unique blend of Russian and Western classical music.

The first symphony, also known as the "Symphony No. 1 in E-flat major," is a vibrant and energetic piece that showcases Borodin's skill at blending traditional Russian folk music with Western classical music. The second symphony, also known as the "Symphony No. 2 in B minor," is a more somber and introspective piece that highlights Borodin's ability to create a hauntingly beautiful melody.

The third and final symphony, also known as the "Symphony No. 3 in A minor," is perhaps the most well-known of the three. It features Borodin's iconic "Polovtsian Dances," which have been used in numerous films and television shows.

The Borodin Orchestra Sinfonica Di Roma (RAI) performs these symphonies with precision and passion, capturing the essence of Borodin's music. José Serebrier's masterful conducting brings out the best in the orchestra, allowing each instrument to shine.
