Notes
- Distributed in a Columbia company sleeve.
- ® "Columbia"
- Printed in Can.
- No date on vinyl.
- From LP : "Highway 61 Revisited".
- 2nd pressing, with blue lettering on the cover.
- Made in New Zealand by a registered user of the trademarks
- This EP was withdrawn, it was intended to be free with the first 2000 copies of spanish pressing of blonde on blonde, but as i say before, withdrawn and destroyed, only a few, survived, and it was replaced by the sg with the same registration number, in a nice gatefold cover, but without the song "just like a thom's thumb blues"
- another curiosity of the ep is that when you play the b side, is not the song "just like thom's thumb blues" live on liverpool in 1966 that's sounding, but instead sounds "it takes a lot to laugh, it takes a train to cry", maybe this is why it was withdrawn and destroyed...

- Another UK edition of Positively 4th Street pressed by CBS has a four-pronged push-out centre.
- An interesting footnote to these two pressings is that this Philips pressing has a wider track width when compared to the CBS pressing. This should mean this pressing either has deeper grooves or wider separation between each groove.

Only Dylan could wite such a perfect song that would get the point across in the most profound

The hostess at the restaurant: “Bitter? Table for one.”
Al Kooper rocks this song.
I like this, Bob. My favorite of yours; then comes Girl from the North Country and Sad-Eyed Lady of the Lowlands.
Know this record for 50 years. My all-time favourite. How can you get better.Play it twice in a row
Truth and reality unrealized. We should have both listened closer in 65.
Same age as Bob. Lived with him all my life. This is light years ahead of Like a Rolling Stone. The latter was forced. This is forceful. Outlive me, Bob. That's all I ask. I couldn't handle your death.
Reminds me of a certain relative. If Phyllis reads this, I won!
Truer words were never written!! Dedicated to ALL THE PHONIES who pretend FRIENDSHIP is genuine, while stabbing you in your back.
timeless masterpiece
This song has gorgeous organ playing which contrasts àcutely with Dylan's pungent lyrics.
I love you thank you for your talent ❤️ and understanding ??????????????
Such a great song, incredibly shrewd lyrics, with an amazing tune. Might be my favorite along with Like a rolling stone and Mr. tambourine man. Super talent! Fan since I was 14!
Thank you ❤️ Bob Dylan peace be with you ?
