I played this song 8 or 9 times in a row the other day. I do admit the first version I heard was the bangles' cover
Pasados 40 AÑOS LARGOS , LA CANCION SIGUE GUSTANDO ... Que más se puede decir
Bangles cover made the boys some ? And Cheap Trick cover also helped ? flow. Cool as shit band. Most missed.
Alex Chilton!

fantastic 70s
No-one can do this like The Bangles.
I've known about Big Star for awhile from Adventureland but thanks to that 70s show I've really been getting into their stuff. I even bought the remastered cd with their first two albums on it. So far there one of my favorite classic bands.
i agree about the shitty mgazine but it is a good song.
It's not bittersweet song. The song is very nice.
Paul Westerberg mangles the words. And it doesn't matter.
Just discovered these guys. They're a bit before my time but it's all I've been listening to lately.
No, they're dancing, smiling and weeping tears of joy...
should have been a hit
I am like Artokaas don't see what's so special about this song...sounds very standard and produce for the radio...nothing to say in the words, no angle, no point of view...And RS are not a magazine you can trust...never...they are just a bunch of “putains” that are only searching the way to sell more of their S**** magazine...
Join me on rockersdive, we play Big Star
I was your Butch, and you were touched
I loved you, well, never mind
I've been crying all the time
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
September girls, I don't know why
How can I deny what's inside?
Even though I'll keep away
They will love all our days
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
When I get to bed late at night
That's the time she makes things right
Ooh, when she makes love to me
(Ooh)
September girls do so much
I was your Butch, and you were touched
I loved you, well, nevermind
I've been crying all the time
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad
December boys got it bad, ooh
