About Arthur Fiedler Boston Pops
Arthur Fiedler (born December 17, 1894, Boston, Massachusetts, USA died July 10, 1979, Brookline, Massachusetts, USA) was appointed the 18th conductor for in 1930. He conducted the Boston Pops for 50 years, until his death. He also spent 26 summers with the San Francisco Pops Orchestra beginning in 1949.
