About Andrés Segovia
Spanish classical guitarist, who is considered to be the father of the modern classical guitar.
Born: February 21, 1893, Linares, Spain. Died: June 2, 1987, Madrid.
His second wife was pianist (marriage in 1935), who also made some piano roll recordings. From 1944, he maintained a romantic relationship with Brazilian singer and guitarist , which was to last for over a decade.
