Review by Iarra Allain Roe Bongcawil

Minneapolis 1986 is the twelfth studio album by the German heavy metal band Accept. The album was released on March 13, 2020, and features live recordings from the band's concert in Minneapolis in 1986.

The album is a must-have for fans of Accept, as it showcases the band's raw energy and power during their prime years. The live recordings capture the band's intense and dynamic performances, with each song delivering a heavy punch that will satisfy any metalhead.

The album features classic tracks like "Balls to the Wall," "Metal Heart," and "Fast as a Shark," which are performed with the same intensity and passion as they were back in the 80s. The sound quality of the recordings is excellent, with every instrument and vocal clear and distinct.

The album also includes some lesser-known tracks, such as "London Leatherboys" and "Love Child," which are given new life through the band's live performance. The album's overall production is impressive, with the mix and mastering capturing the true essence of Accept's live sound.

German heavy metal band from the town of Solingen, originally assembled in the early 1976s by vocalist . Their beginnings can be traced back to the late 1960s, when the band got its start under the name Band X. Accept's lineup has changed over the years, which has included different singers, guitarists, bassists and drummers. Accept have broken up and reformed multiple times. They first split up in 1989, several months after the release of Eat the Heat (which was their only album with Dirkschneider's initial replacement David Reece), but reformed in 1992 and released three more albums before disbanding again in 1997. After briefly reuniting in 2005, Accept announced their third reunion in 2009, with former T.T. Quick frontman Mark Tornillo replacing Dirkschneider.
