Comments
The project's 2010 album, Psychogrotesque, was considered a concept over an individual feeling misantrophy for humanity, experiencing psychological and physical plague-like sickness and vomiting/turning/decaying in claustrophobic spaces. Way more dissonant, Death Metal-oriented and triton-tending than its previous releases, often sympathizing with Deathspell Omega and Ihsahn's solo career in musical terms, it still feels overstuffed with exaggerated Extreme Metal dynamics and palm-muted galore that feels more desperate than inspired. Other tracks like "V" and "VIII" feature what sounds like sections ripped from Rammstein or piracy Summer Dance Parade compilations.Highlights: "III".
