I love this so much.
Geralds finest work in my opinion.

From hearing this on radio in the middle of the night wen I was in my early teens, until now at 45...
I still feel this track so so much.

Brilliant. Esoteric, atmospheric and transcending. What a beautiful part of the backend of a decade full of a new generation of dance music. One of Geralds best pieces of work. Art on plastic. Thank you my friend.

There's kind of the definition of * trance * of house music of the time in this classoc track. So much was about the trance.Back in the years when Oakie still played the best house music in Spectrum or Land of Oz and hadn't been made to start a new form of club music which some idiot CALLED "trance" itself, which wasn't really even house music at all. Fast, empty elctro music with the thin white lady singing in a break in the middle.Aaaaaaaaaah! He could still do some great sessions though.

I remember Jeff Young played this on his The Big Beat Show on Radio One, a great show every Friday night for four years. It was the show which Pete Tong took over all those years ago (26 and a half years plus, as I write this). It was an amazing time, the late 80s, when there was true music and not just strange stuff for momentary effects and ego parades which pretend everyone is a child. This deep track played well in the coolest clubs as well as radio, of course. Great sounds.Music IS supposed to be in some ways at least life affirming or concerned with something genuine and positive or true. Why don't modern producers realise this?I don't mean to be negative myself, but are the endless, empty, boring, music devoid minimalist electro and techno tracks of recent years anything even comparable to the music of the 80s and early 90s? I know the answer, actually, it is no.
