About 22 Pistepirkko

22 Pistepirkko is a Finnish popular music band formed in 1980. The name "22 Pistepirkko" means a 22-spot ladybird (Psyllobora vigintiduopunctata). The three members of the band are Asko Keränen, Hannu Keränen (P.K.) and Esa (Espe) Haverinen. 22-Pistepirkko now produce music in English, though at first their main language was Finnish. Their early albums were inspired by rock and roll and underground icons like Bo Diddley and The Sonics, but they have developed their unique sound by adding other influences to their music. Today they play an unconventional but distinctive mixture of pop, punk, rock and electronica.

This might be the most confusing song ever made. When it starts to play it makes you laugh and think what the hell is that. After first half a minute you found yourself nodding head and become curious to hear more. When chorus hits second time the party has started and you're dancing and singing along with all your heart and soul. When the song ends you go to spotify to add this masterpiece to your playlist and get disappointed because it's not there. Until now, world is better place today.
